You may use your CareEssentials Allowance toward bills such as mortgage, electric, heating and air conditioning, sanitation, water, sewer, internet, and phone services.
Pay your bill on your service provider’s website if they accept Visa® or contact their customer service.
If the service provider does not accept Visa®, you can pay via HealthyBenefitsPlus.com/CarePlus or you can call 1-855-391-0942 (TTY: 711). Have your bill ready. The customer service representative will need to know your date of birth and zip code.
You may use your CareEssentials Allowance for pest control and non-medical transportation through Uber, Lyft, taxi services, or public transportation.

Any allowance amount can change or end if your plan enrollment changes, terminates, or a new plan year begins.

Products may not be available at every location. While shopping at participating retailers, you may pay sales tax on items just as you would normally. Applicable sales tax will be added to the total at checkout according to your state tax regulations. Any fees associated with transactions may be deducted from the available balance. Allowance amounts cannot be combined with other benefit allowances. Limitations and restrictions may apply.
If you use Bill Pay through the Healthy Benefits+ website or by contacting Healthy Benefits+, the service provider may not receive payment for at least three weeks. The documented home address with your health plan must match the service address where you currently reside. CarePlus is not responsible for any fees or loss of service associated with late payments. Service fees may apply. Bill payment is not available for all utility and rental companies. Please check to confirm if your service provider is available.
Do not throw away your card. Please store it in a safe place, like your wallet. CarePlus is not responsible for funds lost due to lost or stolen cards. Benefits listed here are part of a Medicare Advantage plan.
